the holistic approach to well-being
Welcome! I'm Larissa, advocate for rest...

I'm an advocate for rest, because I have lived on the other side of it. The side where being "on" all the time felt like winning, until my body started keeping score...

Rest is not laziness, it's
nervous system regulation.
It's repair. It's how your mind clears, your body recalibrates, and your energy becomes intentional again. Rest is essential for all beings to truly thrive. If you want to feel, think and live at your best, you must prioritise rest.

You might associate rest merely with sleeping or lying on the couch (
passive physical), but there is active physical rest too, as well as mental rest, sensory rest, emotional rest, social rest, creative rest and spiritual rest.

So... rest isn't a step away from life, it's a way to
step more fully into it.
Because when we allow our body and mind to slow down,
even if it's briefly, something shifts...

...we return to the
present moment,
where there is no stress from the past (regret, guilt) nor the future (anticipation, anxiety). And it is only in the present where we connect with ourselves and our bodies. In stillness, we gain understanding and clarity. In deep rest, our bodies repair and restore energy. And in a calm state, our creativity flows and surfaces deeper wishes.

By honouring rest, we begin to restore balance. From a place of true calm, we bring more intention, clarity and energy back to what
matters to us most.

That vision, to create a life where rest is a foundation, was exactly why I started
Blue Tulip Well-Being. I wanted a space where people could reclaim their energy, not by pushing harder, but by honouring stillness. At Blue Tulip Well-Being, rest is a tool for empowerment, for resilience, and that's at the heart of true well-being.

Whether you choose a gentle, guided
energy balancing session (Reiki) in Clifton Springs, in which you are supported in calming the nervous system and entering a state of deep relaxation...

...or you join one of the
uplifting Sunday morning walks in Portarlington for some movement and positive vibes...

...you are choosing
multiple forms of rest, allowing the body and mind to bring back balance in a natural and sustainable way.

And there's lots more to come; I will soon be offering
guided meditations, and a very special, empowering workshop to gain mental rest once and for all...

I hope to meet you!
Wishing you well (rested),

Larissa
